I qualified in medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and spent 2020 and 2021 as a general practitioner in the national health service. From 2022 to 2025 I coordinated malaria focus management for IREM in Pedernales - the operational work of finding transmission and closing it.
